The Greater Philadelphia region is served by nearly every mode of public transit, from historic trolleys along Girard Avenue in Philadelphia to the Amtrak Keystone Corridor. This multimodal transit network is a tremendous asset. Supported by the Federal Transit Administration, PennDOT, NJDOT, and our county and local governments, DVRPC staff participate in a variety of transit planning work in coordination with or on behalf of our transit agency partners: SEPTA, NJ TRANSIT, and DRPA/PATCO. We support local transit planning efforts by collecting data, conducting studies, and identifying emerging national and international best practices.
Chester County Transit Study: Understanding Transit Needs
DVRPC and SEPTA are conducting focus groups to understand the transit habits of people who live, work, and travel in Chester County. However you get around Chester County–whether you ride a SEPTA bus, take the SCCOOT or LINK, catch a train, or travel another way–we’re interested in hearing about your transportation experiences.
