DVRPC maintains an inventory of the region’s preserved open spaces and offers other open space planning resources, such as funding programs, research, and tools.
DVRPC supports a preserved and restored natural environment with thriving ecological systems.
DVRPC has several funding and technical assistance programs that help the region’s local governments and other partners to plan, design, and implement projects.
This is a space for municipal officials to engage in candid dialogue, share insights with peers, collaborate on practical solutions to common municipal challenges, and learn about funding opportunities and technical assistance that can support local priorities.
Update: Connections 2050 plans for the orderly growth and development of the region and considers future population growth, economic trends, environmental concerns, and technological advancements to guide investments in roads, public transit, biking and walking infrastructure, and other transportation modes.
The Unified Planning Work Program outlines all of the federally funded transportation and regional and local planning projects administered by DVRPC for the nine-county region in a given year.
