DVRPC works with PennDOT Connects to identify roads for potential investments that increase safety for all road users. DVRPC works with partners to identify roadways that will soon be resurfaced by PennDOT’s resurfacing program where complete streets elements can be incorporated.
Philadelphia Program
The City of Philadelphia, PennDOT District 6, and DVRPC collaborate to identify roadways suitable for complete streets improvements and to evaluate traffic impacts through capacity analysis and iterative design.
Pennsylvania Suburban Program
Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, PennDOT District 6, SEPTA, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, the East Coast Greenway Alliance, and DVRPC collaborate to identify roadways for complete streets improvements.
