The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) will open a public comment period for the Draft DVRPC Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Pennsylvania (FY23-FY26) to seek your input. DVRPC will accept comments on the draft document from May 27, 2022 until June 28, 2022 at 5:00 PM local time.
Public notice of public participation activities and time established for public review of and comments on the TIP also satisfies Program of Projects requirements for the Pottstown Area Rapid Transit (PART) and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).
An electronic version of the Draft DVRPC FY2023 TIP for PA is available at www.dvrpc.org/TIP/Draft. Hard copies are available at various public libraries throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and at DVRPC’s office in Philadelphia. If requested, the Draft TIP can be translated into an alternative format or language.
The TIP represents the region's federally funded transportation improvement priorities and is required by federal law in order for the region to be eligible to receive and spend federal transportation funds. The TIP also includes non-federally funded projects that are regionally significant in order to provide a broad picture of the region's transportation improvements.
A public meeting will be held online and include a presentation of the Draft Transportation Conformity Demonstration, which will have an overlapping public comment period.
