Bike the Pike, a low stress recommended bike route that parallels Chester Pike in eastern Delaware County, held its grand opening and inaugural ride event on May 30th in Sharon Hill, PA.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has awarded more than $580,000 through its 2025 Coastal Zone Grant Program to 11 projects across the Philadelphia region.
The U.S. Department of Transportation announced a $158 million Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods grant to support the Chinatown Stitch, a project to cap part of the Vine Street Expressway and to reconnect the Chinatown neighborhood in Philadelphia. Construction is expected to begin in 2027.
