At DVRPC, the Fellow will assist the Office of Sustainable Energy on a project related to Thermal Energy Networks (TENs). This project will be a mix of research and data analysis (including GIS), and outreach and engagement activities, focused on identifying potential opportunities and approaches for creating efficient, low carbon building energy systems with TENs.
DVRPC is opening a 30+ day public comment period on December 5, 2024, for the Draft Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Unified Planning Work Program. DVRPC will accept comments from December 5, 2024, until January 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm local time.
The datasets are used by organizations throughout the region in comprehensive plans, research projects, land use analyses, and other planning projects.
In this meeting, we will learn from the experiences of Chester County as they responded to the closures of Jennersville and Brandywine hospitals and discuss how Chester County’s strategies can be applied across the region.
This award will be used by DVRPC to conduct Regional High Injury Network corridor safety studies, develop a municipal safety analysis and plan for an underserved community, and conduct a consultant-led effort to create a model and process for partners to implement the regional plan at the subregional level.
