Can You Get Where You Need to Go? Tell Us About Your Transit Experience
Getting to work, medical appointments, grocery stores, and community services is an essential part of everyday life. But for many of our neighbors–especially older adults, people with disabilities, low-income residents, and others who rely on public transportation–traveling to those destinations can be anything but simple. DVRPC wants to hear about the transportation challenges and opportunities across the Greater Philadelphia region. If you are a resident, transit rider, service provider, community organization, or advocate in Bucks, Burlington, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Gloucester, Mercer, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, we want to hear from you!
Take the Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP) survey to share your experiences with reliability, accessibility, affordability, and connections between transportation services. Participants can also share barriers they face when traveling and suggest improvements that would make public transportation and paratransit services easier to use. Organizations and service providers will have an opportunity to share the needs they see in their communities, identify emerging transportation challenges, and highlight possibilities for better coordination and support.
The feedback collected will lay the foundation for the next update of the region's Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP), which will be completed in 2028. Responses will help planners understand what issues matter most to communities and providers, where additional study is needed, and what priorities should shape future recommendations. The CHSTP helps guide future transportation planning, investments, and funding decisions that improve access to jobs, healthcare, education, food, and other essential services throughout the region.
