Improving Pedestrian and Cyclist Experience Through Data and Design
Join us on Thursday, March 14, 2014, for the Public Participation Task Force (PPTF) online meeting on “Improving Pedestrian and Cyclist Experience Through Data and Design.” DVRPC and its planning partners will share how they use data to improve walking and biking for everyone.
Speakers include DVRPC’s Chris Mulroy, who will provide an overview of DVRPC’s various bicycle and pedestrian web maps; Claire Robin Adler, Complete Streets Transit Project Coordinator for the City of Philadelphia, who will present on Philadelphia’s complete streets project; Nidhi Mehra, Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator at PennDOT, who will provide an overview of PennDOT’s Bicycle Friendly Resurfacing Program; and Jacques-Jean Tiziou, from Walk Around Philadelphia, who will discuss the pedestrian experience from the perspective of a resident. Following the presentations, there will be a panel discussion where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
