Downingtown Area Transportation Study

This two-year study is being undertaken by the DVRPC Office of Mobility Analysis and Design in partnership with Chester County Planning Commission. The study goal is to provide analysis to support further study, capital project development, and transportation project funding in the Downingtown area. The study began in July 2019 and concluded in early 2022.

Online Public Meetings

May 2021

On 5/18 and 5/20, DVRPC and the Chester County Planning Commission hosted two online public meetings to review the work done in the second year of the study and to share findings and recommendations.

October 2020

On 10/13 and 10/21, the project team hosted two online public meetings to present the study scope and initial findings. Participants had a chance to ask questions and share their preferences for traveling around the area in the future.
