DVRPC supports the goal of clean, reliable, and affordable infrastructure and utility services that are resilient to the effects of extreme weather by helping make power and utilities more affordable through cooperative purchasing programs and other initiatives.

Healthy community planning encompasses a broad range of issues—including food access, safety, open space, walkability, and transit access—that can impact an individual's wellbeing.

Age-friendly communities are places where older adults can age actively and engage with the social, economic, civic, and physical life of the community. This brochure addresses how planners and policymakers can make cities, suburbs, counties, and rural communities better for aging.
