Alan Miller and Barry Ableman of the NJ Business Action Center will lead a discussion about the Brownfields Interagency Work Group and how to apply for its help, as well as other redevelopment resources.

4. Status of Renewing the Transportation Trust Fund

A brief update will be provided - John Donnadio, New Jersey Association of Counties

5. Implementing Smart Growth/Complete Streets Policies

Central Jersey is leading the state in adopting such policies, but what happens next? This will be a brief discussion to shape contents for a future meeting

6. Smart Growth for Major Events or Emergencies

Free help is available for municipalities to develop Strategic Community Resiliency Plans - Chase Cottrell, NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness

  1. Five Mayors’ Coalition report on Penns Neck and other major projects – Mayor Peter Cantu, Plainsboro
  2. Transportation element of redeveloping the Howard Hughes Corporation/American Cyanamid site – Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh, West Windsor
  3. A Mercer County Incident Management Task Force is being formed
  4. New Brunswick Ciclovia will be on April 19th
