Committee members will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and highlight any major activity that occurred since the last meeting.

2. Summary of April''s Meeting Highlights

Approval of the highlights of April 19, 2001 meeting

3. Presentation on Bus Rapid Transit

Bus Rapid Transit Presentation - Michael Baltes and Joel Rey, Senior Research Associates, Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of Southern Florida and W. Alton Jones Foundation

With the outcry for more efficient transit service, the Forum may want to consider Bus Rapid Transit. This form of mass transit is being endorsed by a number of transit agencies throughout the country and abroad due to its potential for efficiency and its flexibility in terms of route assignment.

4. Land-Use/Transit Scenario

The results of the land-use/transit scenario will be presented.
a) Overview of transit and land-use assumptions and results.
b) Effects of proposed changes in land-use and transit on 2020 traffic conditions.

5. Penns Area EIS Update

The Forum will be updated on the progress of the Penns Neck Area EIS process.
