This technical report compiles aircraft operations estimates from four non-towered airports located north and northwest of the Delaware Valley region. Eight acoustic samples were taken at each airport, starting in November 2010 and ending in September 2011. Each sample extended over the period of one week. The samples were extrapolated over the entire year. The survey results in general are used by multiple sources to monitor activity levels at non-towered airports and as a base for planning and forecasting documents. The Pennsylvania Bureau of Aviation, in particular, will use these results as a base to compare to forecasts in upcoming Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan updates for the surveyed airports.Geographic Area Covered: Carbon, Lehigh, Luzerne, & Schuylkill Counties, Pennsylvania

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities.
