Abstract: Greater Philadelphia’s population became more diverse between 2010 and 2018, continuing the trend observed in Immigration in Greater Philadelphia, 2012. Greater Philadelphia’s foreign-born population has grown and changed rapidly since the mid-2000s. This Snapshot update examines the foreign-born population in Greater Philadelphia using 2010 and 2018 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. It analyzes household demographic variables, such as median household income, educational attainment, and occupation relative to native households in the region.
