FFY2026 TIP for New Jersey (FFY26-FFY29)

The Draft DVRPC FFY2026 TIP (FFY26-FFY29) for the New Jersey portion of the region was adopted with Recommended Changes as the priority program of transportation projects by the DVRPC Board on September 25, 2025, following a 30+ day public comment period which ended on August 20, 2025. This document is called the Administrative Version until the STIP is approved by our federal partners. This TIP was developed in cooperation with New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJT), Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO), and DVRPC's member cities and counties (see the Public Notice). The Draft TIP, along with the public comments, agency responses, and List of Recommended Changes, were presented to the DVRPC Board for adoption on September 25, 2025. When also approved by the FHWA and FTA, the DVRPC FFY2026 TIP for New Jersey will become effective.

The 30+ day public comment period from July 18, 2025 to August 20, 2025 was conducted jointly with NJDOT, NJT, DRPA/PATCO and DVRPC’s member counties. It allowed the public an opportunity to review and comment on the program prior to it being presented to the DVRPC Board for adoption.

DVRPC believes that public participation is a fair way to ascertain the interests of a wide variety of residents across the region, and public involvement is inherent to sound decision-making. NJDOT, NJ TRANSIT, DRPA/PATCO, and the four counties (Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Mercer), and other project sponsors were made aware of your comments about Draft TIP projects and/or the overall program and have responded via the TIP Comments tool found HERE.
