Draft FY2025 TIP for Pennsylvania (FY25-FY28)
The Draft DVRPC FY2025 TIP (FY25-FY28) for the Pennsylvania portion of the region was adopted with Recommended Changes as the priority program of transportation projects by the DVRPC Board on July 25, 2024, following a 30+ day public comment period which ended on June 24, 2024. This TIP was developed in cooperation with PennDOT, SEPTA, Pottstown Area Rapid Transit (PART), and DVRPC's member cities (see the Public Notice). The Draft TIP, along with the public comments, agency responses, and List of Recommended Changes, were presented to the DVRPC Board for adoption on July 25, 2024. When also approved by the FHWA and FTA, the DVRPC FY2025 TIP for Pennsylvania will become effective and will be posted on the DVRPC website on October 1, 2024.
The 30+ day public comment period from May 23, 2024 to June 24, 2024 was conducted jointly with PennDOT, SEPTA, and PART. It allowed the public an opportunity to review and comment on the program prior to it being presented to the DVRPC Board for adoption. DVRPC also solicited public comment on the Draft Transportation Conformity Finding from June 4, 2024 to July 8, 2024.
DVRPC firmly believes that meaningful public participation results in better planning outcomes. Public participation is a process, not a single event. DVRPC provides multiple opportunities for a wide variety of stakeholders, including vulnerable and historically marginalized populations, public officials, and the private sector, to provide comments on and stay informed about transportation planning and programming decisions. By incorporating local information, residents lived experiences, and subject matter expertise, plans are more implementable, beneficial, and sustainable. PennDOT, SEPTA, PART, and the five counties (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia), the City of Chester, and other project sponsors were made aware of your comments about Draft TIP projects and/or the overall program and have responded HERE.
This portal contains all comments that were submitted, along with corresponding responses from DVRPC and/or our partner agencies. Search for your name, keywords, your county, or a project to find your comments, as well as those from other members of the community. Click the PennDOT Multi-modal Project Management System (MPMS) number to view project details on the TIP webmap.
