The Draft TIP for New Jersey contains 155 projects, totalling over $2.299 billion for the phases to be advanced over the next four years. DVRPC must receive comments for the Draft TIP by 5:00 pm (local time) on August 20, 2025.
The Draft DVRPC Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for New Jersey (FFY26 - FFY29) is now open for public comment. The TIP is the regionally agreed-upon list of priority transportation projects that the region plans to carry out over a four-year period. It is required by federal law, most recently through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act/Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (IIJA/BIL), and allows transportation projects in the region to be eligible for federal funding.
The Draft TIP for New Jersey contains 155 projects, totalling over $2.299 billion for the phases to be advanced over the next four years. Programmed funds include $1.299 billion for 98 multimodal projects in the DVRPC regional Highway Program. Additionally, there are 57 projects in the DVRPC regional Transit Program including 37 for NJ Transit ($886 million) and 20 for PATCO ($114 million), totaling nearly $1 billion. For information purposes only, the TIP lists 108 NJDOT-managed statewide highway programs for the State of New Jersey that are worth $5.3 billion (primarily state-funded) over the first four years.

- Intersection Improvements to Clayton Road (CR 610) and Franklinville Road/Corkery Lane (CR 612)
- Bridgeton Pike (SR 45) and Berkley Road Mantua Boulevard (CR 632) Intersection Improvements
- Intersection Improvements to Paulsboro Road (CR 653) and Repaupo Station Road/Asbury Station Road (CR 684)
How to Make a Public Comment
The Draft FFY 2026 TIP for New Jersey (FFY26 - FFY29) is open for public comment now through August 20, 2025, at 5:00 pm local time. Comments may be submitted online, by email, or through the mail.
