Ethan Fogg, DVRPC Capital Program Coordinator, will present. The dynamic nature of funding transportation improvements and the need to remain within financial constraint require amendments or modifications to the TIP on a regular basis. The following projects require formal TIP modifications or amendments this month for the FY2022 TIP for New Jersey and/or the FY2023 TIP for Pennsylvania.

3. Amani Bey, DVRPC Planner, Long-Range Planning, will present. Staff requests authorization to open a public comment period for the purpose of gathering public and agency comments on Draft Amendment 2 of the Connections 2050 Long-Range Plan, Draft FY2024 TIP for New Jersey, the Draft Amendments to the FY2023 TIP for Pennsylvania, and the Draft Conformity Determination of the amended Connections 2050 Long-Range Plan, the Draft FY2024 TIP for New Jersey, and Amendments to FY2023 TIP for Pennsylvania to issue proper public notifications; to publish the draft documents on the Internet; to make copies available at certain public libraries; and to hold public meetings.
4. FY 2024 New Jersey TCDI Grant Program
Spencer Gober, DVRPC Associate Manager, Office of Community & Economic Development, will present. In February 2023, DVRPC solicited applications for the FY 2024 TCDI grant program from eligible New Jersey entities. The program details and projects recommended for funding will be presented.
5. Annual Self Certification of Regional Transportation Planning Process
Brett Fusco, DVRPC Associate Director of Comprehensive Planning, will present. Federal regulations require that Metropolitan Planning Organizations self- certify that the Regional Transportation Planning Process is carried out in conformance with applicable federal regulations.
6. Election of Fiscal Year 2024 Regional Technical Committee Officers
The RTC nominating committee will present a slate of candidates for FY 2024.
PRESENTATION ITEMS
7. Outreach & Engagement for Our Streets: A Trenton Bike Plan for All
Marissa Volk, DVRPC Transportation Planner, Office of Transit, Bicycle, and Pedestrian Planning, and Michael Kolber, City of Trenton, will present. A city-wide network of bike lanes would significantly impact the 30% of Trenton households that don’t have a car, as well as parking and traffic patterns. For these reasons, effective outreach and engagement is crucial to the success of the Trenton bike plan. The presentation will review outreach channels the project team used, open house activities, lessons learned, and next steps for this ongoing work.
8. DVRPC Data Center Q & A
Jared Dobkin, DVRPC Data Specialist, Data Coordination, will present. The DVRPC Data Center is a recent addition to our website that allows easier access to datasets, maps and applications. Jared Dobkin from the office of Data Coordination will be giving a brief run through of the page and is available for a Q&A following.
