1. Welcome and Call to Order

Task Force members and friends will be welcomed and asked to introduce themselves.

2. NJDOT Truck Parking Survey Results

NJDOT conducted a Truck Parking Survey in Spring 2024 to understand the needs of truck drivers and the freight community and to offer an opportunity to provide feedback for how to improve truck parking in the state. Two surveys were distributed‐ one for short‐haul drivers, such as drayage or delivery drivers, who park in New Jersey for staging and
daytime breaks and one for long‐haul drivers who park in New Jersey overnight. Janice Marino‐Doyle, NJDOT, will present
on the results of this survey and next steps for the state truck parking initiatives.

3. Regional Comprehensive Climate Action Plan Input

Lauren Pawlowski, DVRPC, will provide an overview of the Regional Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). In early
2024 DVRPC completed the Philadelphia MSA Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) that was conducted as part of the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Program (CPRG). The PCAP identifies priority, short
term actions across the region that result in greenhouse gas reductions by 2029, with an emphasis on programs that benefit
low income and disadvantaged communities (LIDAC) as part of the Justice40 initiative. This plan is a prerequisite for our
region to apply for and receive competitive funding from the EPA to implement these programs and move the needle on
climate action. The CCAP will go beyond the Priority Climate Action Plan to include more thorough engagement across the Philadelphia
Metropolitan Statistical Area and address all major sources of GHG pollution. Freight is an important aspect of the plan
considerations and the task force will be asked to provide input on potential strategies to be considered.

4. PhilaPort Strategic Plan

Lindsay Young, PhilaPort, will share PhilaPort’s recently released strategic plan, Destination 2040. Destination 2040
provides a roadmap that charts the course for the Port’s future with a commitment to growth, sustainability, and prosperity
for the region. The report is designed to provide a clear and detailed overview of the current Port facilities and an overview
of future capital projects and initiatives.

5. Two‐minute Reports

Task Force members and friends are invited to offer updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.

The next meeting of the Goods Movement Task Force will be held VIRTUALLY on January 15th, 2025 at 10am.
