3. Authorization to Open Public Comment Periods for the Destination 2030 Long Range Plan Amendment and the Draft Conformity Finding of the FY 2007 Pennsylvania Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), FY 2007 New Jersey TIP, and the Destination 2030 Long Range Plan
Board authorization is needed to open two 30-day public comment periods to receive comment on the Long Range Plan amendment and the draft conformity finding of the amended Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). Two comment periods are proposed due to different schedule requirements of the two Metropolitan Planning Organizations involved, DVRPC and the Wilmington Area Planning Commission, WILMAPCO, the MPO for the Wilmington, Delaware region.

The activities of the RCC meeting of October 17, 2006 will be reported to the Board.
5. DVRPC Board Survey Results
A survey of DVRPC Board members examined a variety of organizational and operational issues. Results of that survey will be presented and discussed.

7. Update of Regional Aviation Planning Program Activities and Major Issues
Staff will review and summarize the functions of aviation planning at DVRPC. Recent aviation studies and conclusions will be presented. Regional aviation development issues that impact mobility, economic development, and other modes will be highlighted.
