Staff will present forty-seven PENNVEST funding applications (distributed throughout the five Pennsylvania counties) which have been reviewed to ensure
that they are consistent with the Long Range Plan.

5.    DVRPC Annual Self-Certification of the Regional Transportation Planning Process   

Federal regulations require that the Metropolitan Planning Organization self-certify that the Regional Transportation Planning Process is carried out in conformance
with applicable federal regulations.  Staff will present its recommendation for Board adoption.

6.    Election of Fiscal Year 2010 DVRPC Board Officers  

Elections will take place for the Fiscal Year 2010 DVRPC Board Officers.  At this time nominations may also be taken from the floor.

INFORMATION ITEM

7.    Connections - The Regional Plan for a Sustainable Future     

The public comment period for the Connections plan closed on June 22.  Staff will report on remarks received during the public comment period and highlight prepared responses.  The Connections plan will be edited to incorporate relevant changes and be brought before the Board in July for action.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

8.        Regional Citizens Committee (RCC) Report   

The activities from the RCC Meeting of June 16, 2009 will be reported to the Board.

PRESENTATION

9.    Oversight of Local American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Projects in New Jersey  

Governor Corzine created the New Jersey Recovery Accountability Task Force to monitor distribution of Recovery Act funds and provide transparency and accountability to the public.  As part of this task force, an Internal Controls
Subcommittee, headed by the State Inspector General, is taking actions to ensure that proper controls are in place for all ARRA funded projects, including local projects.  Members of the subcommittee will outline areas of concern and controls that should be in place by fund recipients on local projects.
