7. Accommodating Bicycles and Pedestrians in New Jersey
Ms. Sheree Davis will speak about New Jersey DOT''s progress toward implementation of the FHWA mandate requiring the routine accommodation of bicyclists and pedestrians in highway projects.

8. Pennsylvania STC Public Hearing
The Pennsylvania State Transportation Commission will be holding a public hearing for the DVRPC region in the DVRPC offices beginning at 8:30 a.m. on August 18, 2005. The hearings allow the DVRPC member governments and others to provide input on the region''s FY2007 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) update and the state''s Twelve Year Program update.

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities. DVRPC's website, www.dvrpc.org, may be translated into multiple languages. Publications and other public documents can be made available in alternative languages and formats, if requested. DVRPC’s public meetings are always held in ADA-accessible facilities and in transit-accessible locations whenever possible. DVRPC will work to accommodate all reasonable requests for translation, interpretation, accommodations or other auxiliary services and encourages that requests be made at least seven days prior to a public meeting.
