6. PennVEST Application Review
DVRPC is reviewing 1 PennVEST application (in Philadelphia) to ensure that they
are consistent with city, county, and regional land use plans. Staff will provide an
overview of the submitted application.

7. County Freight Scans
During FY 2010, DVRPC staff will conduct Freight Scans in each of the region's nine
counties. The primary purpose of the scans is to build greater capacity at the county
planning agencies for addressing freight issues. With the help of the members of
DVRPC's freight advisory committee, staff will perform a number of technical
activities highlighting freight facilities and operations within each county.
8. Route 611/263 Corridor Study
Staff will present an overview of the two-year, multi-municipal corridor study that
focuses on routes PA 611 and PA 263 in Montgomery County. The Route 611/263
Corridor Study is a comprehensive planning effort addressing multiple concerns
including safety, walkability, streetscape enhancements, green infrastructure, traffic
mobility and public transit improvements.

9. Shifting Gears
The DVRPC is starting a new outreach project called Shifting Gears, in order to
determine the bicycle issues and priorities for our region. The project seeks input
from bicyclists and non-bicyclists alike, and consists of three parts: an inventory of
county and regional bicycle plans, staff outreach to county stakeholders, and a
regional online questionnaire. A report will outline results from the collected inputs,
including recommendations for future work/coordination in the region.
10. Call for Supportive Regional Highway Planning Program (SRHPP) and Transit
Support Program (TSP) Special Study Projects
Each year the DVRPC Work Program includes funds reserved for special studies
undertaken as part of the TSP and SRHPP work program elements. Staff will
review study parameters and will present the schedule for candidate project
submissions.
11. Fiscal Year 2011 Work Program
Staff will present a schedule and information regarding plans for the development of
the FY2011 Work Program.
12. One Minute Reports
PCC/RTC Members and guests will be invited to provide updates on the activities
of their agencies.
