5. DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Actions
The dynamic nature of funding transportation improvements and the need to remain within financial constraint require amendments or modifications to the TIP. As situations arise, the PCC/RTC is asked to consider changes.
a. TIP Action NJ06-13: Bus Acquisition, (DB #T111), NJ TRANSIT
b. PA0579 - Brandywine Valley Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan (Proposed New Project)
6. Strasburg Road Pennsylvania Byway Designation
The townships of East Fallowfield, East Bradford, and West Bradford in Chester County have made application to designate a portion of Strasburg Road as a Pennsylvania Byway. The RTC is requested to recommend that the DVRPC Board support this nomination.
7. Fiscal Year 2007 Planning Work Program Amendments
To respond to the needs of member governments and agencies, work program changes and additions are brought to the PCC/RTC to permit the timely undertaking of technical activity.
a. Supplemental I-95 Traffic Study (I-676 to Allegheny Avenue)
b. Quakertown Alternatives Analysis/Rail Restoration Study

8. Philadelphia Diesel Difference Working Group
This working group is a coalition of diverse partners with a mutual interest in reducing air pollution from diesel-powered vehicles through voluntary adoption of clean diesel
technologies and strategies. This presentation will provide an overview of clean diesel technologies that are available on the market, past success stories, and current
projects. Lastly, the presentation will encourage the audience to incorporate clean diesel projects into regional planning, as specified in the recently passed Transportation Act (SAFETEA-LU).

9. Freight For A Day
DVRPC is organizing a one-day, region-wide event and data-sharing exercise called, Freight For A Day. For the target date of Wednesday, September 20, 2006, information about the various modes of freight transportation will be collected and then compiled in a summary report. Freight For A Day will serve as a public education tool and as a focal point for DVRPC''s freight planning program.

10. Overview of Tracking Progress Toward 2030
Staff will provide a brief overview on this project to track indicators of progress toward the goals of the DVRPC Long Range Plan. The latest material for review will be available and transportation aspects will be discussed in the brief afternoon working meeting.
11. Regional Transit Database
This briefing will provide an update on the Regional Transit Database. Highlights will include a demonstration of the web based mapping application and database enhancements.
12. One Minute Reports
PCC/RTC Members and guests will be invited to provide updates on the activities of their agencies.
