3. Guest Speakers
Andy Lovell, Chief, Gloucester County Emergency Medical Services, will discuss county coordination of EMS efforts. He will highlight the benefits of coordinated EMS across jurisdictions in Gloucester County and which programs have adapted well to shared services.
Gary Modi, Chief, Safety Management Division, Bureau of Highway Safety and Traffic Engineering, PennDOT, will present to the group his perspective on the current status of safety in the state, the effects of the strategies and countermeasures from the SHSP on safety on the roadways, and future initiatives and the role of the Regional Safety Task Force.
John McFadden, FHWA Resource Center, will give a presentation highlighting low cost safety improvements and programs that FHWA has available at the local and state level.
4. ADVISORY ITEMS
A. Dennis Thomas, Dunlap and Associates, Inc. will provide an update on the "Heed the Speed" traffic calming project conducted in Philadelphia.
B. Morgan Barlow, Portfolio Associates will provide highlights on the research done to help develop the safety outreach campaign for the Roosevelt Blvd.
C. DVRPC staff will share highlights of the New Jersey Transportation Safety Legislative Symposium held on July 25, 2008 in West Windsor, NJ.
5. Open Forum
In an effort to initiate information exchange, attendees will be offered the opportunity to highlight new and existing safety activities of their organization and in the region.

Title VI Statement

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities.
