4. Approval of May, 2011 Meeting Highlights and Discussion of Draft Recommendations for Next Cycle of Meetings

The focus of this agenda item will be to discuss the summary of member recommendations generated from the survey and May RSTF meeting.   

5. Revised Draft Crash Data Memo Update

DVRPC staff will provide an update on additional work on the draft Traffic Crash Analysis memorandum, which is the starting point for the Safety Action Plan. 

6. How to Improve the Safety of Teen Drivers

Teen driver safety is not one of the seven key emphasis areas of the Safety Action Plan, but is one of the most important additional areas.  Violet Marrero, Manager of Special Projects, New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, will provide an update on New Jersey’s teen driver safety initiatives.

7. Initial Discussion of Measuring RSTF Performance

This agenda item will discuss the concepts developed so far for the RSTF goal, objectives, and measures of success.  This discussion will continue in more depth in an optional work session after lunch.

8. Open Forum

Attendees will have the opportunity to highlight new and existing safety activities of their organizations and in the region.

9. New DVRPC Safety Publications

DVRPC staff will provide an update on three safety publications.

BRIEF WORK SESSION ON RSTF PERFORMANCE MEASURES


Title VI Statement

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities. DVRPC's website, www.dvrpc.org, may be translated into multiple languages. Publications and other public documents can be made available in alternative languages and formats, if requested. DVRPC’s public meetings are always held in ADA-accessible facilities and in transit-accessible locations whenever possible.
