This agenda item provides an opportunity for information exchange from members of the enforcement community.
4. Legislative Update
Representatives from AAA Mid-Atlantic will provide a brief summary of the status of important transportation safety legislation.
5. Assessing the Past Cycle and Planning for the Next One
The group will reflect on the last Safety Action Plan and cycle of RSTF meetings and plan for the next update. Initial results of the survey of participants will be discussed. An item to consider is how to more effectively track the progress of strategies leading to driving down fatalities in the region.
6. Analysis of Crash Data
To start the update of the Safety Action Plan, analysis of all AASHTO emphasis areas will be shared, along with preliminary work updating Traffic Crash Analysis of the Delaware Valley, the data analysis companion to the Safety Action Plan. Discussion will focus on defining the emphasis areas for the next Safety Action Plan.
7. Next Steps for Safety Action Plan
Wrap up discussions of next steps for the update of the Safety Action Plan and preparing for next cycle of meetings.
8. Open Forum
Attendees will have the opportunity to highlight new and existing safety activities of their organizations and in the region.
