[1] Call to order
New Task Force members will be recognized and July 14, 1999 meeting notes offered for approval.

[2] TIP and CMAQ Program Updates
Charles Dougherty, DVRPC''s Associate Director of Transportation Planning, will provide updates on the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Subregion Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) and the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Program.

[3] FY2001 DVRPC Work Program
Ben Ginsberg, DVRPC''s Work Program Coordinator, will describe the process and schedule for development of the Fiscal Year 2001 Work Program. Ted Dahlburg of DVRPC will discuss several freight-related work program concepts. (See attached memo and list.)

[4] Changing Supply Chains and Transport Implications
Changes in the demand for goods and the ways in which they are produced and distributed will continue to alter the role and need for freight transportation services. Dr. Edward Morlok, UPS Foundation Professor of Transportation at the University of Pennsylvania, will review some of the more important trends and their implications, and present some conjectures on winning strategies for regions, and the carriers that serve them.

[5] Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-95 Interchange
Walt Green, Senior Civil Engineer for the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and Jay Roth, Project Manager from KCI Technologies, will provide an overview and status report on the proposed Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-95 interchange and discuss the importance of the project to regional goods movement.

[6] Pennsylvania STC Public Hearing
Jeff Sutch of SMS and Penn-Jersey Rail Lines will summarize Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force testimony proposed for the Pennsylvania State Transportation Commission (STC) public hearing on October 15. (See the attached proposed testimony.)

[7] Two-minute Reports

Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members will provide updates on the relevant activities of their companies and agencies.

[8] Old/New Business

Old or new items of business will be considered.
