[1] Call to order
All Task Force members will be recognized and the July 11, 2001 meeting notes will be offered for the committee''s approval (see meeting highlights).

[2] NHS Connectors to Freight Facilities in the Delaware Valley Region
DVRPC staff will present an overview of a recent report examining conditions on National Highway System connectors serving intermodal freight facilities in the Delaware Valley.

[3] New Study Ranking
Development of the FY 2003 DVRPC Work Program is underway. Concepts for new projects will be presented and the Task Force will be asked to vote and establish priorities (see project concept list).

[4] Regional Success Stories In Freight Planning
DVRPC is hosting a freight planning workshop from October 9-11. Each of the visiting teams from other metropolitan areas will highlight freight planning success stories in their regions.

[5] Brazil: Current Trade Trends and Market Opportunities
The Consul General of Brazil in New York, Ambassador Flávio Miragaia Perri, will discuss current trade trends and market opportunities in Brazil.

[6] Two-minute Reports
Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members will provide updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.

[7] Old/New Business
Old or new items of business will be considered. Formal adoption of the proposed year 2002 meeting dates of the Goods Movement Task Force will be requested.

[8] TEA-21 Reauthorization
Harry Caldwell of the Federal Highway Administration will discuss the role of freight in the reauthorization of TEA-21 (to be conducted at lunch).
