[1] Call to order
All Task Force members will be recognized and the October 11, 2000 meeting notes will be offered for approval. (See meeting notes.)

[2] DVRPC Long Range Transportation Plan
Ron Roggenburk of DVRPC will present a summary of DVRPC''s draft Long Range Transportation Plan, Horizons. The plan, which contains specific freight policies and projects, provides a blueprint for future transportation investments and improvements. The plan will also be presented to the DVRPC Board and then released for public comment.

[3] New Jersey DOT Division of International Intermodal Corridor Coordination
The continued growth of international trade represents a great opportunity for the State of New Jersey to create new jobs, generate higher incomes, and reduce the cost of doing business. Assistant Commissioner Jack Lettiere of New Jersey DOT will discuss a new DOT division created to address the transportation and economic development opportunities and challenges created by this growth in trade.

[4] U.S. Department of Transportation''s Office of Intermodalism
The U.S. DOT Office of Intermodalism was established in 1992 to coordinate DOT projects, programs, and policies involving more than one mode of transportation. Richard Biter, Deputy Director of the Office of Intermodalism, will discuss the office''s activities and programs such as TIFIA (Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act)..

[5] Two-minute Reports
Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members will provide updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.

[6] Old/New Business
Old or new items of business will be considered. The next meeting of the Goods Movement Task Force is April 18, 2001. ( Please note the revised date.)
