1. Call to order
All Task Force members and guests will be recognized and the October 9, 2002 meeting
notes will be offered for the committee''s approval (see meeting highlights).
2. Transportation Management Systems
John Coscia, Jr. will discuss DVRPC''s transportation management systems . The
management systems are a critical tool for inventorying transportation facilities, such as
bridges and pavement, and for helping the state departments of transportation schedule
needed improvements.
3. Delair Bridge Update
Tim Tierney, Assistant Vice-President and Chief Engineer for the Conrail Shared Assets Area,
will provide an update on the condition of the Delair Bridge, the primary rail link between South
Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania.
4. Freight Planning for the State of Oregon
Steve Kale, Senior Planner and Economist for the Oregon Department of Transportation and
Chairman of TRB''s Intermodal Freight Transport Committee, will provide an overview of the
freight planning efforts being undertaken in the state of Oregon.
5. Two-minute Reports
Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members and guests will provide
updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.
6. Old and New Business
Old and new items of business will be considered.
