1. Call to order
All Task Force members will be recognized and the October 27, 2006 meeting notes will be offered for the committee's approval (see meeting highlights).
2. DVRPC Freight Studies
Staff will provide updates on current DVRPC freight studies, including the Highway-Railroad Grade Crossing Management System and the National Highway System Connector study.
3. Revisions to the Destination 2030 Long Range Plan
DVRPC must revise the 2030 Long Range Plan and Financial Plan to comply with SAFETEA-LU requirements by July, 2007. Mike Boyer will present an overview of draft revenues and expenditures and implications for the set of major transportation projects included in the Plan.
4. Navy Yard Access Road Project
A new access road to serve the Philadelphia Navy Yard at its eastern end is under design. Mike Noonan of DMJM Harris will present a progress report on this project.
5. Keystone Corridor Clearance Evaluation and Potential Truck Diversion Study
Matt Hurley of DMJM Harris will present an overview of the Keystone Corridor Clearance Evaluation Study. The study identifies the feasibility and cost-benefit for obtaining double stack vertical clearance along the Keystone Corridor from Philadelphia to Harrisburg.
6. Coalition for America's Gateways and Trade Corridors
Adrienne Gregory, Associate, will provide an overview of the Coalition for America's Gateways and Trade Corridors. Ms. Gregory will discuss the Coalition's leadership on freight issues, key policy positions, major ongoing and upcoming initiatives, and membership opportunities.
7. Two-minute Reports
Task Force and Subcommittee chairs and Task Force members will provide updates on the activities of their companies and agencies.
8. Old/New Business
Old or new items of business will be considered. The next scheduled meeting of the Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force is April 18, 2007.
