Task Force members and friends will be welcomed. Highlights from the previous freight advisory committee meeting on October 7, 2020 will be offered for approval.
Greater Philadelphia Freight Activity in 2020
DVRPC staff will provide a review of key freight and industrial real estate trends from 2020 as well as highlight key projects and initiatives from the year.
Pennsylvania Freight Movement Plan
Pennsylvania DOT is preparing a statewide Freight Movement Plan as required by the Federal Highway Administration, with Michael Baker International as the prime consultant for this priority project. Stakeholder engagement is essential and a high priority for plan development and implementation.
The Pennsylvania DOT and Michael Baker International team will present an overview of the plan process and updates for the ongoing 2045 Pennsylvania Comprehensive Freight Movement Plan followed by an interactive conversation about the goals and initial findings of the plan. Perspectives from the task force on freight movement, in both the DVRPC region and the state, will help to inform the plan development.

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice by DVRPC under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with DVRPC's ADA and Title VI Compliance Officer Shoshana Akins and/or the appropriate state or federal agency within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
