a. TIP Action NJ06-13: Bus Acquisition, NJ Transit ($21.447 million)
b. TIP Action PA05-79: Brandywine Valley Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan, Chester County ($150,000)
3. Strasburg Road Pennsylvania Byway Designation
The Townships of East Fallowfield, East Bradford, and West Bradford in Chester County are requesting Board approval to support the designate of a portion of Strasburg Road as a Pennsylvania Byway.
4. Fiscal Year 2007 Planning Work Program Amendment: Supplemental I-95 Traffic Study (I-676 to Allegheny Avenue)
This study will be conducted to examine safety, air quality and reduction of congestion by analyzing the traffic effects of gambling casinos on the Vine Street, Girard Avenue and Allegheny Avenue interchanges assuming current plans for reconstruction of I-95 between the Vine Expressway and Allegheny Avenue interchanges.

The activities of the RCC meeting of July 18, 2006 will be reported to the Board.
PRESENTATIONS
7. Freight for a Day
DVRPC is organizing a one-day, region-wide event and data-sharing exercise called, Freight for a Day. For the target date of Wednesday, September 20, 2006, information about the various modes of freight transportation will be collected and then compiled in a summary report. Freight for a Day will serve as a public education tool and as a focal point for DVRPC's freight planning program.
8. DVRPC's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program: Accomplishments and Direction
Staff will present a brief overview of strategies undertaken to implement the state and regional bicycle and pedestrian plans since they were first adopted about a decade ago, and describe some promising new directions.
9. Open Space and Natural Resource Planning Services for New Jersey Municipalities
Staff will update the Board on the municipal services program launched in 2003 that has served 16 New Jersey municipalities with over 25 natural resource protection projects. Four projects completed for Woolwich Township, Gloucester County, will be presented as a case study.
