2. Authorization to Open Public Comment Period for the Draft FY 2002-2004 New Jersey Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The New Jersey TIP is developed annually and a draft will be ready for public review in May and June. Board authorization is requested to hold a 30-day public comment period.

3. DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Actions

  2. TIP Action PA0125 - Century Lane Bridge (City of Philadelphia)

4. New Jersey FY 2001 Study and Development Program Amendment

NJDOT is requesting an amendment to the FY 2001 Study and Development Program to add the concept-development phase of the I-295/Rising Sun Road (missing moves) project in Bordentown Township, Burlington County.

5. Adoption of the Year 2025 Land Use and Transportation Plan for the Delaware Valley Region

The public comment process has been completed for the Year 2025 Land Use and Transportation Plan. Staff will comment on the results of that process and request approval from the Board to adopt the Plan as presented.

6. Appointment of Nominating Committee for Fiscal Year 2002 DVRPC Board Officers

A Nominating Committee will be selected to appoint candidates for Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer to the DVRPC Board for Fiscal Year 2002 (July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002). The Chairman for FY 2002 must be from New Jersey. The committee will report these candidates at the May Board Meeting and elections will take place at the June Board Meeting.

9. Home Ownership: A Dream Still Vanishing

Staff will present an update of the Commission's 1990 report on housing affordability. The current study considers the ability of average as well as first-time home buyers to purchase a median-priced home in each of the region's 353 municipalities.
