4. Nominating Committee Report: Proposed Candidates for Fiscal Year 2005 DVRPC Board Officers

The Nominating Committee will report their recommended slate of officers to serve on the DVRPC Board for Fiscal Year 2005 (July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005). Elections will take place at the regular June Board meeting at which time nominations may also be made from the floor.

5. Regional Citizens Committee (RCC) Report

Dennis Winters, Chairman of the RCC, will report to the Board the activities of the RCC's Meeting of May 18, 2004.

PRESENTATION

7. Environmental and Open Space Planning at DVRPC

Staff will update the Board on DVRPC's Open Space and Environmental Planning projects, including open space inventories; greenway, open space and farmland preservation plans at the regional, county and municipal levels; conservation ordinances, coastal zone management projects, and sewer and water infrastructure studies.

8. DVRPC Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Program

DVRPC staff will present recent accomplishments of the ITS Program including the status of the Regional Integrated Multimodal Information Sharing (RIMIS) Concept. The intent of RIMIS is to develop an information sharing network which will link operations centers of the region's transportation and emergency response stakeholders.
