3. Connections 2040 Long Range Plan Progress
The Connections 2040 plan includes a new, in-depth project selection process using Decision Lens and a heightened focus on the gap in transportation funding. Staff will provide an update on the revised project selection process and the approach to educating the public and bringing our region’s leaders together on funding the region’s transportation needs.
4. Delaware Valley Smart Growth Alliance
The DVSGA facilitates smart growth by recognizing proposed projects – development plans, municipal plans and conservation projects – at the earliest stages to help them gain approval at the local level. Projects are applicant-submitted and reviewed by an independent, regionally diverse jury. Staff will lead a discussion on whether or not DVRPC should administer the program in the future.
5. The Mismatch Between Housing and Jobs
Staff will summarize the recently released DVRPC report “Mismatch between Housing and Jobs – A 2011 Update and Discussion on Achieving Balance” and discuss next steps for DVRPC’s housing work.
6. State and Federal Transportation Funding Update
Staff will provide a current status update on transportation funding from Washington, Harrisburg and Trenton.

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities.
