This report provides an overview of land use trends from 1970-1990 for the nine-county DVRPC region at various levels of geographical detail including regional, county, and Minor Civil Division (MCD). The predominant data sources utilized are the 1970 and 1990 DVRPC land use files. These files are based on information derived from aerial photography.

This report documents the 1990 Census municipal demographic and employment variables used in transportation studies. These data are among the basic inputs to the DVRPC regional travel-demand simulation models, which are used to estimate base-year travel patterns, facility volumes, and emissions generated by mobile sources.
