This report examines the successful retiming and optimization effort of the current 10-signal closed loop system along US 1/Baltimore Pike and PA 352/Middletown Road in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, to improve the system’s overall performance. Measures of effectiveness for retiming the system include intersection level of service improvements, air quality improvements, and travel time savings.

Lindenwold Station is the junction of two rail lines; the NJ Transit Atlantic City line and the Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) High Speed Line, which terminates at Lindenwold. The purpose of this study is to conduct a crash analysis of PA 100 in Chester County between South Hanover Street and Font Road. Since 2003, 10 fatal crashes occurred on this 8.4 mile section of PA 100. Crash trends since 2000 were analyzed to determine the underlying causes of the crashes.
