The DVRPC Board has approved over $2.4 million to fund 13 groundbreaking transportation projects through the Travel Options Program (TOP). TOP funds innovative projects that aim to reduce single-occupancy vehicle (SOV) trips and promote alternative travel options such as walking, biking, and taking transit. Projects are funded for two years and must align with the goals, outcomes, and strategies in DVRPC's Strategic Plan for Regional TDM Programs (the Regional TDM Plan).

In this round of grants, ten projects in Pennsylvania and three projects in New Jersey were selected. Projects include a toolkit to address TDM issues at three universities in Bucks, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties; funding to investigate the potential for an electric shuttle program in Solebury Township, an area with limited transit service; a project to identify walking and cycling routes to local destinations in Montgomery Township; a pilot to add Saturday service operations to an on-demand microtransit service in Camden; and more.
