The Travel Options Program funds creative projects that improve the efficiency and service quality of transportation systems by providing options for how, when, and why people travel. The Expression of Interest (EOI) is the first submission required in a two-step application process.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) for the next round of funding for the Travel Options Program (TOP) is due on September 8, 2025, at 5 pm. This is the first submission required in a two-step application process.
TOP funds creative projects that improve the efficiency and service quality of transportation systems by providing options for how, when, and why people travel—a concept known as Transportation Demand Management (TDM). Instead of focusing on building new infrastructure to meet growing transportation needs, TDM focuses on reducing the demand placed on existing systems. TOP-funded projects must fall within one of the program’s five Focus Areas and align with at least one of the goals created in DVRPC’s Strategic Plan for Regional TDM Programs. Projects must introduce a new and creative approach to TDM and have some form of measurable results.
View the TOP application guidelines for more details. To be eligible to apply for EOI submission, applicants must have attended one of the information sessions that were held in July. If you were unable to attend an information session and are still interested in applying, please contact Stacy Bartels at sbartels@dvrpc.org or Amy Bernknopf at abernknopf@dvrpc.org. This program is competitive and only a select number of applicants will be invited to submit a full application, due in January. Learn more on the Travel Options Program webpage.
