Public comments on the Draft Conformity Determination document will be accepted from August 4, 2025, to September 5, 2025, at 5:00 PM local time. There is also a concurrent and related public comment period on the Draft FY2026 NJ TIP and Draft Update: Connections 2050 Long-Range Plan documents, lasting from July 18, 2025 until August 20, 2025 at 5:00 PM local time.
Electronic versions of the documents for both comment periods are available at www.dvrpc.org/AirQuality/Conformity
If requested, any of these documents can be translated into an alternative format or language. Hard copies are also available at public libraries throughout the region, and upon request.
A Conformity Determination is conducted to ensure transportation investments conform to the federal Clean Air Act, and demonstrate that a proposed plan or projects will not negatively impact a region’s ability to meet or maintain federal air quality standards.
