NJDOT has requested that DVRPC amend the FFY 2026 S/TIP for New Jersey by decreasing the FFY26 Engineering/Right-of-Way/Construction (ERC) Phase of the Bridge Replacement, Future Projects program (DB #08381) by $15.362 M NHPP from $15.362 M NHPP to $0 M NHPP. The reason for this cost decrease is to direct the funds to other FFY26 projects and programs. There are no projects utilizing NHPP funding under this line item in this FFY and therefore, reducing NHPP funds in this program helps to offset  other program increases.

This statewide program provides funding for future projects related to bridge rehabilitations and replacements.

Financial Constraint

Financial constraint will be maintained by making adjustments to other existing TIP projects whose schedules or costs have changed. The attached fiscal constraint charts provided by NJDOT show all of the adjustments taking place in accordance with the TIP Memorandum of Understanding. All projects listed contribute to fiscal constraint.

Conformity Finding

The TIP's current conformity finding will not be impacted by this amendment as this project is exempt from air quality analysis
