1.Charles Neer, WRT representing the Fairmount Park Conservancy, will present the Draft FDR Park Master Plan. The plan includes significant impacts to wetland areas.
11:05 FloatLab
1. Jennifer Waters, Urban Engineers representing the Bartram’s Garden, will present the FloatLab project on the Schuylkill River at Bartram’s Gardens. FloatLab is a floating structure, that is proposed to be used for education and environmental observation of the river.
11:30 Moran Towing Corporation Renovations of Pier 1 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard
Jennifer Waters, Urban Engineers representing the Moran Towing Corporation, will present Moran’s proposal to renovate Pier 1 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Renovations will include stabilizing the pier, a recreational public park on the first 75 feet of the pier, resurfacing the outshore portion of the pier and new lighting and utilities as required to service 6 tug boats.
