Federal regulations require state departments of transportation collect real-time traffic and travel information on Interstate highways. In major metropolitan areas, like Philadelphia, they are required to collect information on Routes of Significance. PennDOT is looking for feedback on the regional Routes of Significance, which are in development.

ITS Implementation Report Card’s objective is to track progress in implementing the region’s Transportation Operations Master Plan; identifying where ITS has been implemented, and conversely where it is still needed.
