4. Approval of the DVRPC Project Rankings for the Pennsylvania Portion of the Draft FY 2007/2008 Airport Capital Improvement Program (ACIP)
Each year in February, DVRPC provides to PennDOT a priority listing of recommended airport capital expenditures in the region for the next grant year. This year's fiscally constrained ACIP which was prepared by staff along with sponsor airports has been reviewed by the Regional Aviation Committee (RAC) and will be presented to the Board for approval.
5. Adoption of the DVRPC FY 2008 Planning Work Program
The final DVRPC FY 2008 Planning Work Program will be presented to the Board for approval.
6. Adoption of the DVRPC Title VI Compliance Plan
The draft Title VI Compliance Plan entitled Equity and Opportunity underwent a 45-day public comment period that ended on November 17, 2006. A summary of comments has been prepared for Board review and the Board will be requested to adopt the Plan.
7. Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) Funding Requests in Delaware County and Philadelphia
Two PENNVEST funding requests, one in Delaware County and one in Philadelphia will be presented for Board approval.
8. Proposed Amendments to the Tri-County Water Quality Management Plan
a. Medford Crossings North and South Wastewater Management Plan, Medford Township, Burlington County
b. Florence Township Wastewater Management Plan, Florence Township, Burlington County
PRESENTATIONS
9. New Jersey Safety Program
Dennis Merida, Federal Highway Administration, New Jersey, will present an update of their Safety planning initiatives.
10. Impacts of Gaming in Greater Philadelphia
Staff will present the results of the study entitled Impacts of Gaming in Greater Philadelphia which examines potential transportation, land use and signage impacts of the proposed casino development in the Greater Philadelphia region. This study offers an overview of the legislation and licensing process, the casino proposals, the potential impacts, and a variety of recommendations including changes to zoning, design standards, parking requirements, access management, transit service, billboard ordinances, and directional signage.
11. Freight For A Day
DVRPC performed a comprehensive scan of regional freight operations on September 20, 2006 (Freight For A Day). Many members of the DVRPC Freight Advisory Committee provided key information and data for this effort. Staff will present the results from this snapshot.
