3. Adoption of the DVRPC Fiscal Year 2010 Unified Planning Work Program
The DVRPC Fiscal Year 2010 Unified Planning Work Program public comment period closed on January 16, 2009. Adoption by the Board is now being requested.
4. Regional Citizens Committee (RCC) Report
The activities from the RCC Meeting of January 13, 2009 will be reported to the Board.
5. Bucks County's New Year's Resolutions
Commissioner James Cawley, Vice-Chair of the Bucks County Commissioners and Lynn Bush, Executive Director, Bucks County Planning Commission, will present to the Board New Year's Resolutions for Bucks County.
6. INFORMATION ITEM
a. Connections Long-Range Plan Public Outreach
DVRPC has recently completed the initial round of public outreach activities to gather input for the Connections Long-Range Plan update. Individual components included an on-line survey; focus groups and in-depth interviews with the public, municipal officials and developers; and a series of public workshops throughout the region. Staff will summarize the results from each of the groups including common identified issues and barriers to implementing the plan.
b. Efficient Growth for Growing Suburbs (EGGS)
The EGGS Program is a new grant program funded by PennDOT that will provide grants to growing suburbs to improve growth management and community design and to optimize the efficiency of the transportation network.
