6. Pennsylvania Response to the Transportation Funding Crisis
Carl DeFebo, Manager, Media and Public Relations for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will present a video entitled Pennsylvania Response to the Transportation Funding Crisis followed by a brief update on Act 44 and the I-80 application.

7. Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

Staff will brief the board on the Greater Philadelphia Economic Development Framework, created in partnership with Select Greater Philadelphia and Ben Franklin Technology Partners, to satisfy provisions for a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the Greater Philadelphia region. This document, which sets 11 goals to guide future regional investments and economic development efforts, was approved by the U. S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) as the region's CEDS on September 30, 2009.
