3. NJDOT Hard Shoulder Running Pilot Project along US 1, Kelly McVeigh, NJDOT
The New Jersey Department of Transportation will present on an effort to relieve congestion on an arterial section of US Route 1 in South Brunswick by utilizing the shoulder as a travel lane during peak commuting times.
4. PA Turnpike Accelerated Bridge Construction, Todd Leiss, PA Turnpike Commission
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will make a presentation on an Accelerated Bridge Replacement construction project and preparation of bridge replacement all done while roadway remains open, limiting closure times and resulting detours.
5. Mobile Data Collection System for Transportation System Management and Operations Rowan University and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
A presentation on a current demonstration project to identify and locate potholes using portable equipment mounted on NJDOT Safety Service Patrol vehicles.
