Applying Pavement Management to Airports: New Jersey Case Study

Michael Frabizzio, P.E., Vice President of Engineering, Advanced Infrastructure Design, will discuss the usefulness of network-level pavement evaluation and management for airports. Such an effort informs an airport of its existing pavement condition and treatment needs, including required funding dollars over time, and provides it with a multi-year treatment plan for optimizing the pavement condition. The typical scope of work involved and deliverables produced will be illustrated via a case study example done on seventeen (17) airports in New Jersey.
